Tender green beans sautéed with garlic and toasted almonds for a flavorful, crisp side dish.

# What You Need:

→ Vegetables

01 - 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed

→ Aromatics

02 - 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

→ Nuts

03 - 1/4 cup sliced almonds

→ Oils & Fats

04 - 2 tbsp olive oil

→ Seasonings

05 - 1/2 tsp sea salt, or to taste
06 - 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
07 - 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)

# How to Make:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and blanch for 2 to 3 minutes until bright green and just tender. Drain and immediately transfer to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking. Drain well and set aside.
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, toast the sliced almonds, stirring frequently, until golden brown and fragrant, about 2 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
03 - Using the same skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
04 - Add the drained green beans to the skillet. Sauté, stirring frequently, for 3 to 4 minutes until heated through and slightly crisp-tender.
05 - Season with sea salt, black pepper, and optional lemon juice. Toss to combine evenly.
06 - Sprinkle the toasted almonds over the green beans and serve immediately.
