# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It's genuinely faster than waiting in a coffee line, and tastes better than most café versions.
  • The brown sugar syrup makes it taste like a treat, but it's actually just three ingredients and takes no real skill.
  • Completely plant-based, but creamy enough that dairy lovers won't notice what's missing.
  • One shaker transforms you into your own barista—there's something satisfying about that.
02 -
  • Let the syrup cool completely before shaking it with the cold milk—I learned this the hard way when I tried to rush and ended up with a weird, separated mess.
  • The shaking duration matters more than you'd think; too short and you lose the froth, too long and the ice starts to water down the drink.
  • Using chilled oat milk makes a measurable difference in texture—room temperature milk just won't foam up the same way.
03 -
  • The brown sugar syrup will last about two weeks in the fridge, so make it once and use it multiple times—this drink becomes truly effortless when that step is already done.
  • Shake with intention; those 15 to 20 seconds matter, and the shaker should feel almost too cold to hold by the end.
